Personality: "All talk; little action," A phrase that could very well be used to describe Dee's personality. He retains a hardened exterior simply because it is the only method of survival. Beneath it lies a warm soul filled with sympathy for his neighbors, and hope for a brighter future.

While Dee has an innate sense of justice, he isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. He's determined to make some sort of a living, even if it's simply from peddling drugs and contraband. This is because he happily carries the burden of his caretaker and her 'adopted' children on his shoulders. They're his will, his light, and he would do absolutely anything for them.

Although he has never lived outside of Tanagura's walls, Dee recognizes that the city's way of life is wrong. He holds a severe amount of resentment toward anyone involved in its structure, most importantly the entity named JUPITER. Rather than letting his anger get the best of him, he chooses to utilize it as a fuel for his optimism. Desperately, he wishes that one day, somehow, things will change.

Dee was accidentally conceived 'on the job'. His young mother, starving and desperate, sold herself with no strings attached. Several months into her stay with her keeper, she realized that she was pregnant. Upon researching her genetics, her master allowed her to keep the child; he had no children, and was beginning to feel the weight of his age. Sadly, Dee took after his mother: he was born with several strands of dark brown hair, and was subsequently sent to the lower levels, never to see his 'family' again.

Shortly after his arrival, Dee was taken in by a woman named Maria Lane. He grew up in her care with many other children by his side. While Maria Lane did her best to keep her children healthy, she knew it was impossible to shelter them from their surroundings.

Being a rather mischievous boy, Dee was introduced to the darker side of Tanagura at a young age. He witnessed a murder at age five, and escaped with only a broken arm and some bruises. By age 10, he was routinely playing 'messenger boy' and 'delivery boy' for the local gangs. While he never became a member, he did learn the tricks of the trade, and carried them with him through out his adolescence.

Now, at age seventeen, Dee runs a quiet business of his own. Proposals are made through curious glances, and confirmed through hushed whispers. While he doesn't bring in much, it's enough to keep his 'mother' and 'siblings' fed and clothed.
